Many tasks on HEPMDB require you to be registered. Registration can be done at the following address: http://hepmdb.soton.ac.uk/index.php?mod=user&act=register

On this page, you'll find a description of the various fields on this page.

Generalities

As for any registration form, you'll have to give a certain number of fields. Each field marked with an asterix are mandatory. Once the form's completed, you'll receive an e-mail confirming that your registration request has been taken inton account. It should be accepted by our team quite quickly. You'll receive a second e-mail when you are allowed to use HEPMDB at full capacity.

Fields

First and last names

Those two fields are mandatory. They will be used when sending e-mail to you (confirming that some job is done) and appear when you upload a model.

Address, country and website

As these statements are optiona

E-mail

Giving your e-mail is mandatory. First, it's a simple way to check that this is a real registration. Then, when using the computational capacities of HEPMDB, your e-mail will be used to warn you when the job is done.

Password

This is kind of straight forward. Enter your password twice in order to avoid typos.

Affiliation

For our statistics, we require this field to be filled in. Typical affiliation are your university and the name of your laboratory.

Anti-spam digits

With your e-mail, this is the second way to check that it is not a bot registering. The numbers are usually pretty readable. If you can't read them, just reload the webpage and a new code will be offered.
